Situation of the house.
Maison Pultrum, a romantic house formerly used as a farm, is situated at 520 m above sealevel in the landscape of the Combraille in the small village Brégiroux. The hamlet is located near the village St. Maurice près Pionsat nearby. The house is situated very quietly, in the middle of a beautiful piece of nature, with a view on the trees in the valley of the river the Mousson. You can have a very nice time in the sunny, totally walled-in garden. At this place, you can enjoy nature and silence and relax. Also, it is possible to go for a walk - there are different routes available - or to take the bike and discover the beautiful landscape. It's a very suitable place for families with children. Nearby, at 50 m of the house, there is a forest.

You will experience the simple, quiet French way of living without stress. The spring and summer are really beautiful. At the end of August, the bushes are full of black-berries, apples and peaches, which can be used for the make into delicious jam or stewed fruit. In the autumn the trees show their nice, different colours. At about 2.5 miles south of Brégiroux there is the village St. Maurice près Pionsat. At this village there is a post-office, bakery, a small market and a good restaurant. It is also possible to have diner (table d'hôtes) of Paul and Saskia Huisintveld, who life nearby Maison Pultrum. You can get information about that on arrival!

In the slope environment it is possible to visit the different beautiful villages and cities: Pionsat, Auzances, Evaux-les-Bains, Cermont-Ferrand and there are many more places to go to .... It is an option to make nice daytrips, for example to the thermal baths of Chateauneuf-les-Bains and Evaux-les-Bains, de Gorges de la Sioule and to the top of the 1886 m high Puy de Sancy with the wintersport-villages Mont Dore and Superbesse. Furthermore, there is the vulcanic landscape of Puy de Dôme.

Accommodation:
Maison Pultrum is suitable for 2 - 6 persons. It is possible to come with a maximum of 2 persons extra against payment of ¬ 35,- p.p. a week. )

Groundfloor. The farmhouse is characterized by authentic aspects, such as a oak beamed ceiling and shutters. The house is built of stones of nature. The groundfloor contains a living room, dining room, kitchen, toilet, bathroom and a large bedroom with water-facilities. The whole floor is covered with flag-stones except the bedroom.
The large, cosy living and dining rooms are separated by two doors. The dining room (31 m2) is connected to the kitchen. The room has a beautiful view on the hills of Combraille and has doors to the sunny terrace in the garden.
The living room (29 m2) has a large fire place with a wood burning stove. Firewood is available on command with normal charge. In the living- and diningroom is electric heating available. The living room is equipped with a television and a DVD-player with a few films.


The luxury kitchen (13 m2) contains a fridge, gas- and electric cooker, microwave, coffeemakingmachine, oven, dishwasher and a wide selection of kitchentools for 8 persons.
The large bedroom (downstairs, 21 m2) contains a lits-jumeaux (2x90x200), a washing-stand with cold water and a bidet. The bathroom has a washing-stand with hot and cold water, bath with douche and a bidet. A separate toilet which includes a toilet and urinoir.

First floor.
The first floor contains 1 large and 2 smaller bedrooms. The large bedroom (21 m2) contains 1 double- and 2 single beds (1x 140x200 and 2x 90x200). Next to the large bedroom contains the smaller bedroom 2 "double" beds (2x 120x192). The other smaller bedroom contains a bed for 1 person (90x190) and a little bed for a little beggar (60x120).
All beds have single duvets.

Other.
The house contains a baby-box and a baby-chair (chair with table). In the cave there is a washing machine and a washing-stand. Furthermore, the garden contains a parasol, chairs and 2 tables. The contactperson speaks English, Dutch and French.
It is not allowed to smoke in the house.
On agreement it is possible to bring a pet with you.
Linen for bed, bath and kitchen is not available in the house, but it is possible to rent it. There is a guestbook in Maison Pultrum which contains useful tips, relevant telephone numbers and manuals for the tv, dvd-player and so forth. The guestbook also contains information about the environment like maps, flyers about curiosities, gastronomic tips, markets, tours for walking and biking, etcetera.
There is an obligatory 35,-- € fee for final cleaning.
You have got reach by mobile phone at the house.
Normal use of electricity, water and gas is included (8 Kw electricity a day). More usage shall be counted according to userstariff.
